Hey there! This is Edua! Most of you will probably know me from social media, and if you've followed me long enough (maybe since 2016), you already know that I used to be a blogger who would write about his love life. Now, a her, it should come as no surprise to say that A LOT has changed!
My last blog entry, dates from 2020! What?! How has it been four years? Now here I am, on the sunset of my twenties, looking back at some of the stories that I lived, the heartbreak that I went through, and the life lessons that made me who I am today.

This new website is mainly a portfolio of my past work with professional writing, digital fashion, and art exhibitions that I have organised in the UK, but I decided to bring some of my old blog posts "from the vault", because, ultimately, no matter how cringey I might feel at reading them today, they are part of me, and you know what they say... past is just prologue!
You might find that some of them have a little 2024 update note at the very end, which serves as a reflection or, in some cases, as an announcement of another project that has arisen from that specific post.
While I do have one or two ideas for upcoming blog entries, my writing has completely shifted to songwriting, which means that, most of my crazy love stories, romances, or personal turbulences will be found in my upcoming debut album, which I have been working on since 2018. However, I might jump to my keyboard from time to time, to write a little something for this website.... you never know.

As I have mentioned on my socials, my debut album will be the culmination of three different projects that I have been working on simultaneously. The first one of those projects is The Eth Girl, my new limited series on Spotify where I talk about my experience working in Web3 as the events manager of a top NFT marketplace. That should keep us busy for the next couple of months, but it wont take too long before I tell you more about the second project, and when it will be available for you to purchase. That's right, the second project is not meant to be streamed, you will actually be able to acquire it. And not gonna lie, I'm as excited for this second project as I am for the album!

So, as you can see, there is a lot going on... but there's also time to relax. I have recently been in Mexico and Greece, and can I just say how much I appreciate being back home now that I'm older? As I read my old blog entries, I'm not surprised, but I do have mixed feelings, reading when I say that my hometown was a place that I was desperately trying to escape from, and while I can understand the reasons why I said that, now, nearly a decade later, I have come to appreciate everything that my little dangerous and surreal town has to offer. The food, the warmness of people, my friends, my family, the fact that the roads might not look as cute as those from an English suburb, but they feel so alive in comparison, all of that has made me appreciate it so much more, and now... I can't wait to go back!
And I have to go back... because my producer happens to be in my hometown. So, I'm really proud to say that my debut album is being entirely produced by Mexican talent from no other city than my crazy hometown, Reynosa!
Also... I have been thinking about being more outspoken on places like TikTok sharing my thoughts on some topics or uploading storytime vids... but can I be honest? I feel too old to use TikTok! That's the one trend that I have really struggled to jump into since 2020, and I'm not sure if it's ever going to happen. If you ever see me doing lip-sync or dancing vids, you know for sure that I have been converted to TikTokism.
So, I guess that's it for this #eduannouncement . Thank you so much for reading all the way through, and for supporting me in all of my projects, whether you've been following me since 2016, or just discovered me a few weeks ago. Your engagement with my projects, is greatly appreciated, and I know exactly who are the ones who have always supported me, so rest assured that I will give you a little something when projects 2 and 3 come out. Until then, there's some time to wait, but I guess, for now... we have The Eth Girl! If you can, subscribe to the podcast on Spotify and turn on the notifications so that you don't miss any episode. Have a lovely time! Stay safe, productive, and hydrated!
Until the next post.
Edua xx
